Excellent pic quality and they carry my favorite channels (although i would note that the directv stream box is still lacking an apple tv app for some reason.) directv sells their boxes either new for $120 or refurbished for $50. Channel guide is easy to view and overall ui is fine

A good alternative to cable and tivo. (not sure about fubo tv, as i haven't tried it.) and on the plus side, you'll also have all the other apps you use on the same box, which generally isn't true with tivo dvrs Thanks, yttv is not on my short list because it doesn't appear to have nfl network or nfl redzone
I am now looking at sling blue as they have announced that they now have nfl network, so that has moved up on my list above fubo, mainly due to price
Man, choosing another ott to replace playstation vue has turned out to be harder than i thought! And when fubo support says the thumbnail views are available on most channels and instant dvr recordings, i should have clarified They're slow to appear when initiating on apple tv 4k I don't think they even populated for my on my roku ultra 4660
I think limited ram on the roku (1 gb vs 3 gb on the apple tv) and speed of connection (200 mbps here but measured at about 100 mbps to fubo tv. I chose fubo family plus fubo extra plus amc premiere for the trial Channel selection wise, i like that it has most of the philo channels plus warner and nbc/universal plus insp plus hallmark plus sony/gettv plus smithsonian channel. Now we are dropping xfinity for at&t fiber and trying out both youtube tv and fubo tv as replacements
In either case, we will save about $90/month
This is where is gets interesting. A few weeks back i tried fubo tv free trial and i must say i liked that dvr very much You can narrow it down with categories and that was nice I also like how you can start watching a live program towards the end and hit record and the recording is available from the beginning.
Someone mentioned in a thread that comcast / xfinity is planning to shut off all cable card at some point While we all know / can sense this is coming (with xfinity only supporting legacy cable card customers who are grandfathered in), the at some point mentioned obviously does not give any. If you're considering sling, then you should also take a look at the other streaming cable tv services, which also offer cloud dvr Hulu with live tv, directv stream, fubo tv, and youtube tv.
Do not give up your cc for stream box yet
If you must call be sure you talk to the cable card department or something like that Maybe sign up for a free trial of the multiple streaming services available (dtv stream, youtube tv, fubo tv etc) while you wait for it to be fixed.
